This pedagogic development project report aims to examine and improve the existing conditions for a well-functioning and clearly articulated research/teaching nexus on the undergraduate level in Media Studies. This was carried out through a curriculum inventory and a questionnaire distributed to 2nd and 3rd semester undergraduate students. The results indicate weak connections between research and teaching, and thus a considerable potential for improvement. The conclusion suggests a minor revision of the institutional strategies to link research and teaching proposed by Jenkins & Healey (2005).

Detta pedagogiska utvecklingsprojekt undersöker förutsättningarna för en väl fungerande och tydligt artikulerad forskning/undervisningsnexus på grundnivå i mediestudier. Resultaten indikerar svaga samband mellan forskning och undervisning. Diskussionen föreslår en mindre revidering av de institutionella strategierna för att koppla samman forskning och undervisning enligt Jenkins & Healey (2005).
