<p dir="ltr">This dataset contains anonymized written reflections from 42 students enrolled in a course on academic integrity at Stockholm University. The data were originally collected on 6 September 2024 during a seminar on ethical aspects of using generative AI in academic work. Students were asked to respond to the question: <i>“Should I mention that I used ChatGPT to complete an academic assignment?”</i></p><p dir="ltr">The reflections, totaling 2,626 words, were first written in Swedish and subsequently translated into English for research purposes. The dataset includes:</p><ul><li>The original student responses in Swedish.</li><li>The English translations of the responses.</li><li>Contextual information about the teaching activity (including prior exposure to plagiarism-prevention resources and a self-study course on academic integrity).</li></ul><p dir="ltr">The data are fully anonymized in compliance with GDPR and cannot be linked back to individual students.
