Organization and leadership
This presentation is about the relation between organization and leadership with an analysis of a few sociological theories on elites (Pareto, Mosca, Mills, Michels). It was originally made for the course "Business, politics and culture" (Global Management 2015-2016) and it is now used in the course "Culture and politics in contemporary France". There is a reflection on the origins of political parties with the debates between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists in the United States. The theory of Michels (iron law of oligarchy) is also described.
