Introduction à la relation entre culture et identité

Both presentations are parts of an introductory course given at Stockholm University in French III for students that have at least 60 university credits completed in French.The course "Culture and identity# (Kultur och identitet in Swedish) proposes an evaluation of the dynamic relation between culture and identity in France with the help of audio records, movies, literary and geographical texts. The presentation deals with the contemporary forms of literary and artistic productions in France. It is also embedded in the theories of Paul Ricoeur (1913-2015) on the distinction between sameness / selfhood and Cornelius Castoriadis (1922-1975) on the imaginary institution of society.
