The manuscript details a pilot study on teaching AI literacy as part of Swedish upper secondary education's Technology and Programming courses. The aim was to provide basic proficiency in AI in a limited time. The teaching module contained both theory and practice and was evaluated using questionnaires before and after the module. Analysis shows that students gained a more nuanced understanding of AI and the risks of using AI.
