An increasingly important issue within the realm of education, as well as other forms of vocational training, is the enhancement of collaboration between various professions. In this context, it is also crucial to consider how cooperation between different occupational groups can be reinforced during the educational process. Within teacher education, this is a pertinent issue that recurs in students' evaluations, in curricula and in other institutional documents guiding educational practices. Specifically, within School-age educare (fritidshem) a recurring inquiry is: How can we initiate and develop collaboration between teacher education programs, and thereby enable cooperation also in the teachers´ upcoming professional worklife?

This project presents several proposals for diverse interventions aimed at cultivating collaboration during the teacher education programme, drawing from two teacher training programs at Stockholm University. The findings reveal a significant willingness to develop frameworks for collaboration and suggest that such efforts should be systematically integrated into the educational process to facilitate their realization in professional school practice.
